Rossignol launches its CSR program

Between Rossignol and Intersport stores, it’s more than a commercial partnership that plays out! If the Rooster brand has been present on store shelves since the very beginning, Intersport and Rossignol also share values and a similar vision of the future in the ski field. This is why Intersport is happy to share with you Rossignol’s CSR program for 2020 called “Respect”. A major project aiming to reduce their carbon footprint by 30% by 2030 and waste production by 40% by 2025. Check out their program!

Fighting climate emergency

Present across many mountains around the globe, Rossignol has seen the ravages of climate change. As a winter sports equipment supplier, the group is responsible for implementing actions to protect the environment in general and the mountains in particular.

All of the group’s brands (Rossignol, Rossignol Apparel, Dynastar, Loung, Look, Kerma, Risport, Time, Raidlight, Vertical, Felt, Dale Norway) undertake to comply with the directives of the Global Compact, an association committed to the fight against global warming and recognized by the United Nations.

Our RESPECT environmental progress program requires the Rossignol group to improve wherever we can. We are now embarking on a structured approach aligned with European objectives for reducing carbon emissions.

Bruno Cercley, Président of Groupe Rossignol

Innovate the right way

In practice, in addition to reducing its waste and its carbon footprint, the group is also committed to a conscious and reasoned Research and Development approach. The teams are notably working on the design of respectful products based on natural materials for its new range of 2020-2021 Freeride skis.
